If the US deal with the nuclear issue and lift sanctions, we agree!
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran warned in an interview about any exclusive plan of regional connections that lead to the geopolitical and geostrategic change of the region, and in another part of her remarks, Iran -US agreement on Oman's talks was a turning point for everyone, including Iran's neighbors.

Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister, during his recent ambassador to Armenia, in an interview with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzavian, said: "We have a variety of issues shared at bilateral, regional and international issues and two issues. We also reviewed the various aspects of current projects between the two countries.
In an exclusive interview with News Armenia, Khatibzadeh also said that she had met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia and some of the officials and figures present at the Yerevan Dialogue Summit, pointing out that the South Caucasus and South Caucasian issues were discussed.
Avoid changing the geopolitical region under the pretext of creating new connections
The Deputy Foreign Minister, in response to why he discussed Armenia's confidence in the lack of support for any "crossing" at the meeting and whether there are concerns that Armenia may change, explained: No, this was not a concern. Rather, it comes from the perspective to explain and repeat what we actually share; We need connectivity, diversity in different communication and transport routes, but we should not pursue projects that eliminate others or change the geopolitical and geostrategic perspective of the region.
Khatibzadeh added: "Last week, we had the Tehran Dialogue Assembly and Mr. Grigorian (Armenian Security Secretary) was there. I talked to them on stage and discussed the issue of Armenia's "Peace Crossroads". But I also wanted to make sure that when we use different words and terms, we understand each other well. So, both in Tehran and here, I wanted to make sure that when we talk about the diversity of connection, different transport and transit routes, or when we refer to the intersection, we mean the connection, not the disconnection. This means that any idea that is based on the elimination of others or changes the geopolitical perspective of the region is not in the right thing for the region.
Is Azerbaijan to cut off connection?
"I do not call it a unilateral intention from any country," he said in response to the question of whether he meant Baku's intention to cut off connections. I think we need to clarify what is possible and what is not possible. We definitely need a mutual understanding and a solution accepted by both sides in this area. It must be respected in everything in the international law and the sovereignty of the countries of the region, including Armenia.
"While the two countries need to cooperate and find a sustainable and durable solution to connect, we also have to assure all countries in the region that what we plan is to connect, not to disconnect the overall vision that has been in the region for decades," she said.
Iran's readiness to create a crowd for Armenian -Azerbaijan negotiations
"We fully support this peace initiative and the peace agreement," said Armenia, in response to the question of whether Tehran is ready to provide a platform for the Baku-Eirvan talks. We have officially said that we are 5 % behind all the efforts of both countries. We believe that they will agree as soon as possible, for everyone, including Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as Iran.
He added: "Iran is a neighbor of both countries and has had very good relations with its neighbors that we want to continue." But at the same time, everyone knows that many joint projects have remained intact because of competitions. We have not been able to fulfill the capacities of this area. Therefore, we need an agreement to ensure the future of cooperation. Victims of these competitions and clashes have always been those who have tried to implement peace and cooperation projects in the area.
Creating new crossings in the South Caucasus
Responding to the question of whether Iran's emphasis on preventing any geopolitical change in the region, Tehran, Khatibzadeh said: "I think I said clearly that these types of terms should be defined carefully." We all need to have a common understanding. If the "crossing" means denying the sovereignty of Armenia, I believe that even Azerbaijan does not want that. Iran is definitely opposed to any initiative that violates the territorial integrity or sovereignty of any country, including Armenia.
"We strongly support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, Armenia and all countries in the region, because what we need in this region is international law," he said. Therefore, if the corridor means something that divides our region into two or three separate parts, or if it means a violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia, or what the geopolitical and geostrategic perspective of the region change the geopolitical map of logic, that cannot happen. It is not possible at all, because Iran believes that we need and support direct access to all countries while connecting, transportation routes and diversity.
The senior Iranian diplomat said: "If Armenia and Azerbaijan decide to create a peacecase or connection programs, we will definitely be very happy." Of course, we also have our plans. We suggest our long -standing paths that are more economically and regional connectivity. However, we welcome any agreement between countries in the region.
Iran's reaction to the potential attack of Azerbaijan on Armenia
Responding to what a tangible Tehran will take on Armenia in the event of an attack by Azerbaijan, Khatibzadeh said: "We are doing our best to prevent any intensification of conflict in the area." It's enough. We believe that peace is what everyone is looking for. Iran uses all its capacity and mediation to communicate with both Azerbaijan and Armenia and guarantee the future of development, prosperity, cooperation and normalization of relations, especially between these two important countries.
Importance of Iran -US nuclear deal for the region
Responding to a question about what the agreement would be in the indirect Iran -US negotiations, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said: Reaching the agreement will be a turning point for everyone, including our neighbors. But even without an agreement, Iran has proven that acting is responsible for a good friend and neighbor in the area. We think that with or without the agreement, the guide is the friendship and neighborhood that we are all partners.
He added: "Iran is very committed to achieving an agreement that guarantees both the lifting of sanctions and addressing the concerns of the other party to ensure that Iran's nuclear activities remain peaceful." We are confident of your programs. At the same time, we need the other party with a real commitment to lift the sanctions, which will be the main point of our possible agreement, if we come to a good and acceptable solution.
The opportunity to agree with America
Responding to whether there is an opportunity to agree on the matter, Khatibzadeh said: "If the United States abandons its old policy of respecting the rights of other nations, including Iran, if Iran's right to peaceful nuclear activity under the Nuclear Weapons Prohibition (NPT), it is close to the Nuclear Weapons."
The interventionist presence of foreign forces in the region under the pretext of securing it
Asked whether Iran is currently concerned about the presence of foreign forces in the region, he said: "Our area has long been suffering from transnational competitions and tensions. These competitions are not good for the region and its countries. History has shown that when countries in the region decide to work together, they can create indigenous security that is neither borrowed nor from abroad.
Khatibzadeh emphasized that this is what we need. Our region can play a key role in shaping its future. Our region can be the architect of its own destiny. That's why we have to work together.
The role of Armenia in the future providing regional security
Responding to what a defect in Yerevan has in this future, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said: "Armenia is a very important country, a very good neighbor for us and a key country in both the South Caucasus and in the future. Our initiative to connect the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea includes Armenia with a central role. For us, Armenia is a gateway to the Eurasian Economic Union and to the South Caucasus.
"We care about Armenia and want to improve our bilateral relations," he said. There is no restriction on our cooperation, and we must show everyone that both Armenia and Iran are able to build a deeply interconnected relationship based on mutual support.
